Infoman and Tivoli Servicedesk
24/01/98 08:00
The established reporting that came from Infoman was soon to be up-ended by more corporate change so, apart from a rather entertaining week with IBM on the South Bank, London - learning the delights of SECTIONS and ESECTIONS, not much was done to put the training into place.
Alongside this, was a mandatory EOL update to (now) Tivoli Servicedesk which was a major port of a lot of customised code both with TSD and with its bridge to Infoman. This was done in a test room that shared the space with the test LPAR that housed Informan. The temperature was normally in the late 30s and lasted for four months - alone, apart from the occasional tester.
Thankfully all went well.
